BUILDING FEMALE LEADERS IN THE SPORT OF MOUNTAIN BIKING

On Saturday, March 15, the Georgia Cycling Association will host its first-ever Girls Ride Leadership Summit—a half-day of education, team building, and leadership development designed to empower female leaders in cross-country mountain biking.

Female leadership is essential to growing female participation in the sport. This invitation-only event will bring together student-athletes and adult leaders from our Girls Ride initiative, equipping them with the skills, confidence, and connections needed to inspire the next generation of female riders.

Through interactive sessions, group discussions, and hands-on activities, participants will explore ways to foster a more inclusive, supportive, and thriving community for girls in mountain biking. By strengthening female leadership within our programs, we’re ensuring that more young women see themselves in the sport—and have the role models they need to succeed.

Here’s our agenda

This event will enable in-person collaboration amongst Girls Ride leaders as they plan efforts to grow female participation in our sport.
